July Update!

Hey folks! things have been heating up.

First things first, I was involved in a car accident and have been dealing with the fallout from that.

And That coupled with my limited time on the computer that holds the info for the Kickstarter has had me not able to post any update. But that does not mean that I have stopped with the forging.

Alright, let's get into the meat of it.

Help. I need it. And I have asked around for it. I will hopefully be getting some help sending out the rewards in the next week.

I took the advice from a good friend about duplicating oneself and now I can work on things while someone else deals with the minutia.

The stickers, anvils, blacksmith mini figs, and coins should work their way to you faster now.

A few folks have asked about the t-shirts and sizing. I realize the Pandemic has been rough on all of us and if you wish to get a new size please email me your order number and original size/color with new size.

Metals!

Titanium square stock is still eluding me and prices have not been kind to many industries. Mine included. There are a few other metals that I'm tracking down and will take a bit more time. Please be patient as the dust settles from the world's situations.

Alright, I kept this brief and I will update you soon about shirts and other stuff.

Hello Folks!

As you saw with my last update I have asked you all for address updates for the groups that I listed.

(Anvils, Coins, Blacksmith figures, and Stickers) A good number of you have yet to do so. Be sure to lock it in so I can ship those to you.

As before, you wont need to update quite yet if you are a multiple order backer and have rewards in other categories than the ones listed above.

I realize I didn't take photos of the rewards so I'll be doing that soon with an add-on update to this one.

Other updates: I've been slammed these last two weeks with work that came up suddenly and has postponed a bit of production but I did find a day within that to forge about 30 D20s which is huge!

I've been really honing in my skill with the hydraulic press as it's hard to finesse a small object with a large ram. The more I work with it the more comfortable I am with it. 

Oh, that reminds me, I did have some press issues earlier last month but were taken care of. Maintenance for this thing is out of my skillset and I have to recruit others that specialize in hydraulic systems.

Materials: As I'm sure you are all aware of, the cost of a lot of materials have gone up exponentially.

Wood, Steel, Gas (?) 

So I've been looking for a new supplier for Mild Steel spheres for the dice and I think I may have found one.

The ones I've discovered are so far the lowest I've seen.  Quality will have to be addressed once I receive them, however.

How do I update my shipping address?

Hey folks, allow me to clear up some information regarding address changes.

You'll have to log in to your account. 

In your BackerKit account:

Click 'Settings' at the top of the page, and then click 'Update Address' - this will update all of your unlocked survey's shipping details.

On Your Survey

To update your shipping information, click on your BackerKit survey confirmation link that was sent to your email. If you need this link to resent, please go to our Survey Recovery page.<-- This part you'll have to log in directly to follow this link.

If your address is open, you will be able to see and click 'Edit Shipping Info' to update your shipping details. To update the country or state, please contact support for assistance. 

Pro-tip: Some backers are able to get their country and state to change by updating their Zip Code!

If your address is locked, please contact BackerKit for assistance with your new shipping details or message the Project Creator through Kickstarter or Indiegogo with your new address for fastest resolution!

Hey folks, I hope 2021 is treating you better than last year.

I wanted to let you all know that we will be starting fulfilment with a few tiers soon.

Those that pledged for the Anvils, Coins, Blacksmith figures, and Stickers will be seeing their rewards shipping out in the coming weeks.

If you happened to pledge for more than the tiers listed above that HAVE included dice orders these will be going out later with the forged dice.

If you happened to get multiples of the above rewards (Let's say you got a Coin, a Sticker AND an Anvil) they will all go out in one package. 

The t-shirts will come after these have been shipped.  Going to make sure all the shirts are present and all the ordered sizes are there.

So be sure to fill out your shipping information if you fall into those categories.

Hey folks!

First off, I owe you all an apology. I have been silent these past several weeks. 

As several of you know now, I lost my home due to our financial situation and we spent the last month moving our belongings.

2020 has been difficult for all of us and I have not been spared from all the bad things that have been seen throughout the year.

 I have been trying to find the words to describe my life recently but fall short. Today I took a walk with my wife in a canyon that I haven't been to in a long time and she told me something that resonated in me:

"You are at the pottery wheel. You are currently at the point where the pieces of the pot you were working on are crumbled in front of you. 

You can see where it was weakest. 

What didn't work. 

What needs to be done.

So you can now take that information and work on the next pot.Make a better pot."

I needed to hear that. Things can seem so gloomy these days that it becomes hard to hear the good news or even just good words.

So, I still have a shop, and I haven't stopped working on the kickstarter. But ultimately funds prevent me from rolling the way I intended to from the get go. Hindsight and all that.

However, continuing forward I will be allocating funds into shipping the things I have already finished and are complete. I am going to work on a spreadsheet to get everyone organized in a better manner.

From then I will be acquiring metal in piece meal and work on those. The only real challenge left is the Silver dice (which the supplier I had went out of business due to Covid)

This is where I'm at. I'm not going to abandon the project and I can promise you of my resolve to complete the dice as soon as I can.
